In 2020, our team started building a cryptocurrency trading platform. We were frustrated with the existing trading tools, which often had inaccurate or incomplete data.

We realized why: There weren’t any API providers that had enriched and reliable data for tokens across many networks. So we started building the Codex API.

It turned out that many other developers and businesses were looking for the same thing: a dependable source of truth for blockchain data. The API we created to power our trading platform became a service of its own.

Since then, we’ve been obsessively building Codex into the most accurate and reliable blockchain API in the industry. We believe that the fiat economy will eventually blend with the crypto economy, and large institutions like governments, banks, and public companies will increasingly need access to comprehensive blockchain data.
